When Lighting Becomes the Foundation of Life and Work, Trust Fenix as Your Partner

For me, it’s hard to choose just one experience — because Fenix is part of my everyday life, not only during outdoor adventures but also at work. Because of my profession, I often need reliable lighting when working at heights at night or inside industrial chimneys. In those moments, dependable equipment is essential — and Fenix has never let me down.

Outside of work, my biggest passion is the outdoors. Since childhood, I’ve spent a lot of time in the forest — my dad used to take me there often, and that definitely shaped how I spend my free time today. Not long ago, I went on a bike camping trip. After finishing work on Friday afternoon, I packed my gear and set off. It got dark quickly, so I relied on my Fenix bike lights (CL26R PRO) and a headlamp (HL17R) I kept in my pouch.

The route was about 40 km one way, and by the time I entered the forest, it was already completely dark.Without proper lighting (BC22R) , that ride would’ve been impossible. When I finally found the perfect spot to camp, my headlamp made it easy to set up the hammock and prepare the site for the night. After a quick meal, I could relax and enjoy the peace of the forest.

Besides camping, I also enjoy a bit of urbex. One evening, my friends and I decided to explore old Austro-Hungarian fortifications from World War I. In such dark and unstable places, a powerful flashlight is a must — it made the whole adventure both exciting and safe.

Of course, a flashlight isn’t just for extreme adventures. It often helps with everyday tasks too, which is why I always keep a Fenix flashlight and a spare battery as part of my EDC setup.
