Lock: with the lamp switched off, press and hold the switch for 3 seconds, the lamp will blink red 4 times at 2Hz to indicate locked status.
Unlock: with the lamp locked, press and hold the switch for 3 seconds, the lamp will be activated on the Low output of White light mode after blinking red 4 times at 2Hz to indicate the unlocked status.
In the locked status, a single click or double click of the switch will activate 4 red blinks to indicate the locked status.
*Note: With the light locked, remove and re-insert the battery, the light will not be unlocked automatically. You must still press and hold the switch for 3 seconds to unlock the light.
Q7. Why does the HM23 V2.0 downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached. When this happens in the lowest output, the lamp blinks 3 times every 5 minutes to remind users to replace the battery.

A: The reasons that may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:
A: Poor battery level.
Solution: Replace the battery.
B: The contact point or contact of the battery or headlamp is dirty.
