Scott Canterbury got his beginnings in construction as a teenager. During the times he wasn't in school or fishing, Scott could be found building or fixing things. The diligence and commitment he developed while working in construction helped pave the way to his success as a professional angler. His modesty and his style have helped him win competitions and aided him in tournaments.
Scott was first inspired to fish competitively at the age of 10 when he joined his dad in a company fishing tournament. After that point, he participated in multiple fishing events throughout his teen years.
As he got older, Scott's passion for fishing continued. With the support of those close to him and his indisputable skills as an angler, Scott began participating in the FLW where he yielded 42 top 10 finishes and 2 wins. He later won Rookie of the Year with the FLW in 2018 and the highlight of his career came in 2019 when he won Angler of the Year on the Bassmaster Elite Series. He has yielded 42 top 10 finishes in the FLW competition and achieved two wins.
